Whirlwind

When I first saw "Whirlwind" I passed it by, but then had to come back for another long look...and couldn't stop. Deceptive in it's simplicity it sneaks up, quietly wrapping around the very edges of your mind and slowly, gently draws you in. I found it soothing - from the soft edges to the bolder swirls blending nearly seamlessly, yet remaining distinctly themselves. The choice of color also adds to the calm feeling which is in distinct opposition to the "windy" look that both the texture and color portray. The title "Whirlwind" is a clever and appropriate name for a photomanipulation so full of diametric qualities. Very nicely done.
